HERA IS HIRING!
Thanks to support from Arts Council England, the Baring Foundation and NHS partners, the well-established and successful HERA arts and health programme is expanding to work in new locations across the south and east of England.
We are seeking highly professional and special people for some new roles with our registered charity, the Robin Hood Health Foundation. We are based in Brighton & Hove and work in a number of localities. Remote working is possible so long as some time can be spent at key sites as needed.
We provide a range of high-quality arts and health activities for and with adults with long-term health conditions, of all ages, often referred through NHS primary care.
We are have four roles available:
Referrals and Communications Officer
This is a key role, being the first point of contact for people referred to our programmes and ensuring that information is managed effectively. Will suit a person who takes pride in first class administration and inter-personal communication. 1 day per week in the first instance, with occasional extra hours and the possibility of increased days over time
£5,519 before deductions 0.2 FTE (£27,595 FTE) + 3% pension contribution
Creative Programmer
We need a talented and experienced arts manager or programmer with knowledge of health or care settings. This person will lead the development and implementation of our main creative programmes, with support from the Director and artist-facilitators. Previous relevant experience needed, some travel required
£24,992 0.6 FTE (FTE £41,653) plus 3% pension contribution and small tax-free working-from-home allowance
Access and Engagement Officer
Understanding the creative and inclusive ways we can engage the people we support is vital to our mission – this person will bring enthusiasm, flexibility and deep capability to help people overcome barriers to involvement, and make sure we design our work to be as inclusive as possible. Some travel required
£10,822 0.4 FTE (FTE £27,055) plus 3% pension contribution
Trustees
We need two special, strategic and experienced board members to help us on the next stage of our journey as a charity. You will have senior-level insight into creative work & organisations, diversity, representation & inclusion, and/or business planning & strategy. Ideally one candidate will be suited to move into the role of chair over time
This is a voluntary position; reasonable expenses can be paid.
